I am also in between. I am divorced, but not married. I am 31 and want to be a mom, but I am not. I am an attorney, but not experienced enough to run my own show completely, but know enough to get frustrated. My house is getting fixed, but not fixed.... you get the point.
So, I am working on being content in the "In Between," You know those times when there is no drama, huge life change, rough patch, but yet no huge thing to plan for, or look forward to. Its the everyday life. The ho-hum of getting up each day and heading off the my office to do the routineness that is lawyering. Where I know what each day will bring, and find some comfort in it, yet I long for something new, exciting, fresh or some tragedy that I can now put my energy into.
I guess this is the point in life where I need to look around, feel blessed for all the great things that I have, all the experiences I have gone through, and look forward to what the future holds.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
