Ahh yes, its the first day of spring here in
sunny, dreary Texas. I know it should come as no surprise that the weather is less than desirable for this time of year, I mean it is Texas. Texas is notorious for our rather fickle weather patterns. It can go from sunny to rainy in 2 minutes flat, and it is not unsual to see a 20 degree temperature drop over the course of a few seconds. Often just as you decide to put away the sweaters, the heavens open and in comes the snow! Yes, that is Texas weather!
Now, don't get me wrong, I love a good rain, and Lord knows we need it here to recover from the excessive days of 100+ temperatures in the summer, but on the first day of spring? And to make matters worse, when it rains here, it tends to pour. I mean monsoon! Flash flooding, crazy drivers, overflowing waterways.... come on Noah bring on the Ark. So much for April showers. (Though I did get to wear my cute Banana Republic Trench!)
So, happy Tuesday all, if you need me I'll be treading along, trying to keep afloat. ~

P.S. I am also wondering how many people's homes are being attacked and whether this means more insurance claims....
