- to feel stressed out that I'm missing work tomorrow for a non-work event, right? Cause I am. Seriously, the thought of not billing hours and somehow being fired is killing me....
- that I put tons of thing in my "shopping bag" online but never actually buy them.
- that I love my new office, but miss my old next door neighbor (just not the same w/o shouting hello to AP)
- to tell your titleholder to stand up straight even when you do not always do it. Do as I say not as I do, right?
- to be ecstatic to spend the next three days with my gorgeous, wonderful friends visiting wine in the Texas hill country (but secretly going to miss hubs and the furry baby)
- to nod at the partner while he explains something to you and agree and then google what the heck he was talking about
- to not be able to find the answer to legal issues... I mean contrary to popular belief, there is not answer to everything (hint hint law school profs!)
- that i have cried twice this week on my way to work because im just in a funk!

Glad to hear I am not the only one who shops online like that. I feel like when I am in the shopping mood but can't shop it helps to just put them in the online shopping bag for a bit even if I dont buy them. haha
ReplyDeletei leave so much stuff in shopping carts - and then a few hours later (or a few days even) i get an email saying hey! there's still stuff in your cart! (sometimes with a discount, sometimes not)
ReplyDeleteThe first one I seriously deal w every single time I take off work! It gives me the worst anxiety! I always put a ton of stuff in my shopping cart & never buy anything too! Haha I love it!
ReplyDeleteOhmygosh. When you posted "to not be able to find the answer to legal issues... I mean contrary to popular belief, there is not answer to everything (hint hint law school profs!)" it totally hit home. It's been such an eye-opener to be working at a law firm and not be able to find an on-point case to every legal issue. Eye-opener/really frustrating.
