Yup, it was a gorgeous Texas weekend. Friday night we joined some good friends for dinner a local favorite of ours. Salads for the both of us but mmmm delicious wine! Followed by an early bed time. because... I had a workout at 7am Saturday. I met the trainer for our pageant girls and got in a great led workout. He made my tushy, and calves, and quads shake. Needless to say, by 8am I was back on my couch and asleep.
That was pretty much my Saturday. I napped, grocery shopped and enjoyed an early Mexican dinner with le guy and then headed downtown for a lil froyo!
Sunday we headed to church and then a great 4 mile run on the Trinity Trails. I love Fort Worth and our system of bike and running trails. The weather was just too gorgeous, so we walked to Sundance Square and parked our butts at The Flying Saucer for some beer (him) and wine (me).
We followed it up with this delicious dinner:
Not very exciting, but super relaxing!

Crazy weather indeed! I wished i had filled up the gas tank yesterday because i'm dreading having to do that on way home.

It sounds like a REALLY great weekend. Even if you did nothing, the fact that it was 77 makes me super jealous haha.

These crazy weather trends are driving me crazy. Yesterday we were out walking and enjoying the sunshine. And tonight we are going to have to leave the faucets dripping and the electric blankets on since it will be down in the teens again (and we might even see some snow!) Cuh-razy!

ReplyDeleteThis weather is nuts! It was in the 60s all day today (in SC) and tomorrow we're supposed to get 5 inches of snow!
