I returned home late Friday and was exhausted. Quick hangout with le guy and then bed for me. I was up bright and early Saturday for a trek to Dallas for training for my perhaps new business undertaking. Has anyone heard of J. Hilburn Men's Clothier? Well, I attended training and am trying to decide if I can undertake this and still have time for ya know, life. I would recount my Saturday night, but honestly I am asking for mulligan on it and moving on.
Sunday was church, work, lil yard work, family showing up at my door and my mom bringing over some of my old trophies and some gems of old family photos... like this....
And then it was Monday and I was back at work and barely had time to look up and breathe, which actually, is a good thing! Busy days make for fast days and fast days lead to the weekend just showing up on your doorstep. Which leads me to a revelation I had last night at dinner with my girlfriends.... Thanksgiving is next week... yes next week people. WHERE DID THE TIME GO? It's like we rang in 2013 and BAM! Its the Holidays (which BTW, do not put up your Christmas tree, lights, décor people, its not December, can we please celebrate that lovely food holiday that comes before December 25th? Please and thank you.) Rant over.
And with that, I give you my life since I've been gone....
and how can you not miss this face? |
WOW! That's a lot of stuff going on, busy girl!
ReplyDeleteThose nachos look amazing!!! YUM!
Seriously, you have TONS happening. I'd be ok if nachos came on the side of whatever I ordered. Heck, I've been known to ONLY eat nachos for a meal (don't judge me) haha
ReplyDeleteSo excited for all of the opportunities you have going on right now!!! Just remember to only take on what you WANT to take on - otherwise, it will all just be stuff that keeps you busy instead of stuff you enjoy doing:) Can't wait to hear about your new venture!
ReplyDeleteAnd totally agree on the whole time flying thing. I realized today that Caleb hasn't worn his cute little turkey onesie yet...And only has one week to wear it now! Because like you, I realized that Thanksgiving is NEXT week. Holy goodness. Guess we know what he'll be wearing every day until Thanksgiving, lol!:)
I am so with you on not decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving. I wish people would stop that!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like Saturday night was the most interesting thing that happened. Spill it....
