- spend at least one day each month electronic device free with my hubs (this will be more a problem w/ him than me)
- have a date night that does not involve just dinner
- argue my first hearing (without it being cancelled)
- get admitted to the ND of TX and 5th Circuit
- hang out with my college girls friends at least once a month
- go to another wine painting class
- visit the BFF in Austin
- bite my tongue when hubs does something that bugs the heck out of me and let it go
- oh yeah, let things go more
- run a 5K this fall
- get a bike and ride around the lake
- meet blog friends in person
- go back to NYC before I turn 30
- send out all the baby gifts I have bought before these babies are toddlers
- bring in a new client
- CREATE MY OWN HAPPINESS

You hear it people, goals set, now let's start checking them off!
Way to turn negative thoughts into a positive! Great idea of setting new goals. I think i need to shake up myself this way too.
ReplyDeleteGOOD luck acheiving them. I love the no electronics date night, well done!

Love it. I firmly believe that happiness truly is of your own creation. If you want to be happy, you will. It's that simple:) I have been wracking my brain trying to think of a way we could get a group of blog friends together. I would love to meet everyone too! It's hard when everyone is so spread out...Is there a blog conference anywhere anytime soon we could all try to plan to attend? Or fun event or something?
ReplyDeleteI know they have conferences every year like bloggy bootcamp and blogher has things, we should def plan to meet up! or just have a good ole girls vacay.
DeleteI can help ya with these two! ;)

Oh I Love love love your goals!! (Except the work ones, but I totally understand all of those too.) I love New York. I love bike riding. I love making new friends. I, too, need to let things go. Sometimes my husband does something and I just explode because it was so wrong. But in the morning, I wish I would have just let it go the night before. So I will work on this goal with you. Seriously... I will work on all of these goals with you. I turn 30 in October. How about New York then?? =)
ReplyDeleteOOOH!!!! I LOVE YOUR LIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's so good!!! I think you need to get admitted to the 5th circuit and then have your first oral argument here at the 5th circuit in nola and then we can meet up for a high powered blonde attorney lunch!!!! :) tee hee hee! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read how your list goes! XOXO
